Currently serving as the Dean of Allied Health & Medical Sciences at Al-Kawthar University, he is widely recognized for his transformative contributions to healthcare governance and education. Dr. Qidwai’s academic foundation includes an M.B.B.S. from Dow Medical College, followed by an MPH from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA from the University of Hawaii, and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation from Canada.

Rizwan Ali is a dedicated nursing academic, clinician, and institutional leader with extensive experience in nursing education, clinical practice, and academic research.

He currently serves as Principal and Assistant Professor at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing, where he provides strategic academic leadership, oversees program development, and promotes evidence-based nursing education.

He previously served as Principal at Sindh Modern College of Nursing and Health Sciences and as Senior Nursing Faculty and Program Coordinator at Horizon School of Nursing and Health Sciences, contributing to curriculum delivery, research supervision, and organization of academic seminars and professional training activities.

Mr. Ali holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Ziauddin University, Karachi. His clinical background includes professional experience at Aga Khan University Hospital, where he worked in critical care, operating room, and peri-operative patient management, strengthening his expertise in acute and surgical nursing care.

An active researcher, Rizwan Ali has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed studies in areas such as nursing knowledge, maternal and child health, infection control, community health awareness, and clinical education. Nida Zaid Khan is a dedicated Registered Nurse and nursing educator with clinical and academic experience in critical care, infection control, and undergraduate nursing instruction. She currently serves as a Nursing Lecturer at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing. She previously served as a Nursing Lecturer at Sindh Modern College of Nursing & Health Sciences and has previously worked as an Infection Control Coordinator at National Medical Centre and as a SICU Registered Nurse at South City Hospital, Karachi.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ziauddin University and has completed multiple professional certifications in critical care and life support. Her academic interests include infection prevention, clinical nursing education, and evidence-based patient care, supported by her published research in surgical nursing practices.

Mudasir Ali is a medical technologist, researcher, and academic with specialized expertise in pathology, laboratory sciences, and quality management systems. He currently serves as Ass. Professor at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing. He previously served as faculty at Rangers College of Nursing and Paramedics and previously worked as Assistant Professor and Lecturer of Medical Technology at Malir University of Science and Technology. He holds an M.Phil in Pathology and a BS in Medical Technology from Dow University of Health Sciences, along with advanced training in blood banking, biosafety, and ISO-15189 laboratory accreditation. His professional experience includes laboratory management, diagnostic services, research publications, and student mentoring in clinical laboratory sciences. His academic interests focus on laboratory quality assurance, infectious disease diagnostics, hematology, and research-driven medical education.

Muhammad Ali is an experienced nursing professional and clinical educator with extensive background in patient care, unit leadership, and clinical instruction. He currently serves as a Coordinator & Clinical Instructor at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing while also working as a Charge Nurse and Clinical Instructor at JPMC, Karachi, where he supervises nursing teams, ensures patient safety, and supports clinical training.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing along with a specialization in Community Health and a diploma in nursing post graduation in ward & administration PG. His professional interests include clinical education, emergency and community health nursing, and patient-centered care, supported by research work exploring telehealth cardiac rehabilitation after myocardial infarction.

Miss Afsheen Nizam is a Lecturer at Al Kawthar University with over 23 years of experience in education, training, and public speaking. Her previous academic roles include serving as a Lecturer at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology and at a college affiliated with the Dow University of Health Sciences.

Since 2005, Ms. Nizam has established herself as a trainer and facilitator, conducting workshops on leadership and creativity for diverse audiences across Pakistan, including students and professionals from national and multinational organizations. Her external engagements include leading conferences for USAID, serving as a guest speaker at numerous universities, and representing Pakistan at a United Nations conference.

Her professional contributions have earned several accolades, such as the Women of Excellence Award from the Government of Sindh (2016), the Fakhr-e-Karachi award, and a Gold Medal in the "100 Successful People" category. Ms. Babar holds a diverse academic background, including an M.Phil in Human Resource Management (HRM), a Master’s in English, a B.Ed, and qualifications in Homeopathic Medicine (DHMS, RHMP).

Mujahid Ali is a Registered Nurse and nursing educator with clinical experience in critical care, pediatrics, oncology, and emergency care. He is currently serving as a Nursing Lecturer at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing, contributing to undergraduate nursing education alongside his clinical practice.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jinnah Sindh Medical University and has completed extensive clinical training across major tertiary care institutions, including NICU, PICU, ICU, and cardiac care units, perusing a Master degree in nursing from the Dow University. His academic involvement includes external examiner responsibilities and a research publication on mental health among undergraduate nursing students.

His professional interests include Teaching, clinical teaching, critical care nursing, and evidence-based patient management.

Faizan Imran is a computer science educator and developer with expertise in programming, web development, and digital learning technologies. He currently serves as an Associate Lecturer at Al-Kawthar University College of Nursing, where he supports undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and the integration of modern e-learning tools.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence. His professional interests include web technologies, interactive educational platforms, and technology-enhanced learning for academic environments.

Dr. Aisha Arshad is a hematology researcher and laboratory medicine scientist specializing in Malignant Hematology, Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP), Transfusion Medicine, and Hemoglobinopathies. Her research focuses on disease pathogenesis, biomarker discovery, oxidative stress, infection control, and immune mechanisms using advanced techniques such as flow cytometry, HPLC, and molecular analysis.

She is the first Pakistani oral presenter at the 63rd Annual International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (2019, Melbourne, Australia), presenting her PhD work on the clinical association of increased antioxidant levels in ITP. Dr. Arshad has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, serves as a peer reviewer for national and international journals, and is Co-Principal Investigator for FCPS residents. She currently practices as a hematologist while leading the Allied Health and Medical Sciences department at Al-Kawthar University.

Dr. Samiyah Tasleem is a PhD-qualified Microbiologist from the University of Karachi with over 25 years of teaching, research, and industrial experience. She currently serves as Course Co-Leader of the MS Program in Wellness Management at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi, and holds multiple academic and advisory roles across leading institutions. Dr. Tasleem has extensive expertise in antimicrobial agents, phytochemical analysis, clinical research, halal testing, and microbial analysis of food and pharmaceutical products. She has published more than 90 impact factor research articles and over 200 conference papers, along with authoring four international books.

An active research leader, she serves as Chief Editor of an international journal and is a reviewer and editorial board member for numerous national and international journals. She has secured research funding and supervised undergraduate research projects. In addition to her academic contributions, she is the Founder and CEO of Pakistan Education, Health and Technology Innovation Consultant Group. Dr. Tasleem also plays a significant role in professional training, conference organization, and student development initiatives at national and international levels.

Dr. Sara Qadeer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at Al-Kawthar University. A Gold Medalist in Biochemistry, she specializes in neurochemistry and biochemical neuropharmacology. Her academic work emphasizes high-quality teaching, interdisciplinary learning, and the integration of biochemical principles into allied health education. Through dedicated mentorship and engagement with clinically relevant scientific domains, she contributes to the university’s commitment to academic excellence and the preparation of competent healthcare professionals capable of addressing contemporary health challenges and advancing societal well-being.

Ms. Hannah Tariq is an experienced academic with 7 years of progressive experience in higher education, encompassing teaching, curriculum development, academic coordination, and student mentorship. She has served in key roles including Subject Specialist, Senior Science Lecturer, and Program Coordinator, contributing effectively to both academic delivery and leadership.

She has taught and held academic responsibilities at reputable institutions such as Iqra University and the University of Karachi. Her international academic exposure includes oral and poster presentations at conferences in Amsterdam, Turkey, and Pakistan (OWSD National Chapter).

Ms. Tariq has also served as Assessment & Examination Officer for the British Council and Aga Khan University Examination Board, ensuring quality and integrity in assessment processes. As Program Coordinator (Post RN BScN) at City Institute of Health Sciences, she played a key role in curriculum innovation and program management.

Dr. Syed Shariqullah is a dedicated radiologist who is passionate in his work and has practiced in multiple tertiary care hospitals for the past 15 years. He has an academic and research experience of more than 10 years. He has published more than 20 articles in various journals nationally and internationally but his main focus is always Pakistan Journal of Radiology (PJR). Dr. Syed Shariqullah is also a peer reviewer for scientific journals and is always willing for collaboration on projects to advance medical imaging techniques.

He continuously keeps himself updated via various channels to ensure best services to his patients and students. On top of that, he is also serving as a mentor in Pakistan to improve diagnostic and exam based challenges among the doctors and residents via his online courses for MCPS, MD, EDir and FCPS candidates. He is also an active member of The Radiological Society of Pakistan (RSP) and keeps himself updated with the recent guidelines and radiological techniques.

Dr. Syed Shariqullah is currently working as a Consultant Radiologist and Head of the Department at The Modern Hospital and an Assistant Professor for BS-MIT program in Allied Health and Medical Sciences as a strong healthcare professional.

Mr. Abdul Aleem has extensive academic experience, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and MIT Program at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi. He previously held the positions of Head of Physics and Controller of Examinations at Allama Iqbal College of Science & Commerce, Bahawalpur. He has also served at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, and at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. His academic and research interests lie at the intersection of physics education, biomedical imaging, laser spectroscopy, and machine learning applications in medical diagnostics.

Mr. Abdul Aleem holds an M.Phil. in Physics from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan, with a specialization in Atomic and Molecular Physics and Laser Spectroscopy. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Physics at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. His doctoral research focuses on the diagnostic study of lung disorders from CT scans using deep convolutional neural networks. He completed his B.Ed. in Science and Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Physics with a focus on Semiconductor Physics. With over ten years of teaching and academic administration experience, he integrates experimental physics with modern computational tools to advance both education and research.
